Windstar SEL 3.8L

When driving at highway speeds and going up a incline it seems to kick out of overdrive but instead of being smooth it is a more of a shutter. Any ideas?

Two gears went out on our Windstar transmission so I chose to replace the entire transmission with a rebuilt one.

Windstar LX

  • 40,000 miles

Well the mini van starts shaking over 40 MPH and rumbles between 60-80 mph. One guy told me that could be the transmission torque converter, I really don't know about the solution, and I will like to fix as soon is possible!
