When the heat has been on for a while warming the car up then later in the day you switch to AC, the rear controls are not changing the air coming out of the vents. It will continue to blow out HOT air when you want the AC on. You just have to turn it on high and recirculate to get the back seat cooled off. If you let it run for 30 minutes of so on full blast in the back it will gradually start to adjust to cool. Then, when your ready to switch back to having the heat on, the same thing happens and it won't warm up in the back vents.
