My speakers in my car stopped working, I checked my radio and navigation -- and they both were working. I called the GMC dealer and I told them that my speakers were not working. (nothing is coming out of them). They told me to drop the vehicle off and they would look at it, might just be a fuse. I work about 1/2 hour from the dealer, so it was easier for me to drop my car off at night and have them take a look at it the next day. I also, wanted them to update my navigation.
The following day about noon, I called the dealer to find out if my car was ready. A service man told me that they couldn't find out why the speakers were not working. I was not happy because they had the car all morning and I needed my car back, that afternoon. They told me they would have to have it diagnosed. About a hour later, I received a call from the dealer. They told me that it was my stereo and navigation, it was broken and I needed the entire system replaced. I was like why, my stereo and navigation worked fine. It's the speakers.
I paid for the diagnoses test in the amount of $107.51 and I picked up my vehicle that evening. I'm still waiting for a response from the dealer, manager Mike. I'm driving my car without any sounds. My blinkers, stereo and navigation don't have any sound coming out. My navigation has no voice, stereo no music, and my blinkers no sound. So don't know what to do.
I have contact GMC Corporation and they opened a claim for me. But, still waiting on a response from the service manager Mike at the GMC dealer in Pasco WA.

Only the driver side speakers work..all the speakers on the passenger side have no sound coming out of them.
But once in a while it will work on both sides for a short amount of time.
