if the car is started before the passenger enters the vehicle, the air bag sensor does not detect the seat being occupied. Alternatively, if the passenger is seated in the vehicle before the car is started, they are detected initially, but become undetected if they lean towards the backseat.
This is extremely concerning and appears to fit the recall in 2008 even though the online tools do not display any open recalls for my VIN.
Why do so many Acadia owners have the same problem, but are not covered by the recall? Does #10335B solve this issue?
