The vehicle was taken to gandrud Chevrolet (3792, 919 auto plaza dr, green bay, wi 54302, (920) 309-5444) where it was diagnosed that there was an electrical short. The cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the water traveled down to the driver's side door bulkhead plug and caused the shortage throughout the vehicle. The contact was a certified mechanic who replaced the body control module five times. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a case number. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000.

The driver seat made a noise while being adjusted and there was a noise coming from the steering column when it was cold. The radio and navigation screen went out and the drivers seat did not move.
