Over the course of 6 years since I've purchased by new vehicle, on the right side passenger floor, there is a puddle of water that has accumulated under the carpeting and is causing the floor to rust and deteriorate. It is when you run the A/C and the water drains into the vehicle. I've sent it to the dealer to have it repaired many times and they only do a fix and not correct the problem to avoid the lodging of the water. The last time I sent it to my dealer the fan motor was inoperable because of the water damage the electronic circuits.

Various GM vehicles have a known defect that allows water from the sun roof drain to enter the passenger compartment and more importantly allows water to enter the passenger compartment fuse block. This defect is covered under service bulletin #08-08-57-003C. This vehicle has had numerous electrical system issues that only occur during heavy rains and the dealer has been unable to recreate the problem after things have dried out so to speak. Most recently after a heavy rain, the battery was dead and when replaced with a new battery, the engine would not shut off even after the key was removed. This is a serious safety concern that can result in injury or death. The only way to shut off the engine is to remove the ECM fuse from the under hood fuse block. Not being able to shut the engine off via the key can have serious life consequences in the event of an emergency. This is a wide spread issue that seems to get worse over time and ends up with not being able to shut the engine off. The GM models affected by the service bulletin as follows: 2008-2012 Buick enclave 2007-2012 GMC Acadia 2007-2010 Saturn outlook

I entered approximate date that I first reported to the dealership the condition of the leather seats. The leather seats are pealing. The sun visor broke off from the mirror. The console was pealing. I reported these before that time, but had to wait until the gentleman at the dealership was available. I was not pleased with the way he treated me. He acted as if I was not smart in reference to my problems and was blaming it on wear and tear. Also I now have a headlight that has moisture in it. The dealership checked it for leaks and none were found, so how does that happen. I just had recall on light, but was inside the light. Now this is how I feel about that. It is me and my granddaughter and she was 12 when I purchased the vehicle. We used it for day to day travels and traveling. I have been and continue to be very careful and so does my granddaughter, with the way we take care of this vehicle. I am so disappointed in the fact that it was not taken care of properly. I never heard from the district representative regarding these problems and he told me she/he would get with me. GMC contacted me and the dealer several times and now it is still the same. GMC has really failed in their job in working with customers with problems.

The hydraulics on my tailgate failed suddenly. I always use the power liftgate to open my tailgate, but this time when it reached the top, the tailgate suddenly dropped several inches, when the gas struts should have taken over the weight of the tailgate. I was standing under the tailgate at the time when it happened, and it hit me on the head, before the power liftgate took over again to close the liftgate. In manual mode, the gas struts don't function at all now. My vehicle is 21 months old. It is booked into a dealership to investigate the failure.
