Acadia SLT V6

Started with burnt out headlamps every 6 months and had lead to replacing both sides wiring harnesses. Dealer stated that GM knows it is a problem with too light of a wiring harness and had to replace both wiring harness with a heavy duty style. Know the head lamp assembly's need to be replaced, dealer quoted $1,000 for each side, This is a result of the excess heat caused by the faulty factory wiring harness overheating making the headlight assembly to become brittle.

After having their call for light heating recall and light going out, another light went out and melted the light frame. To have the light work GM wanted me to pay $1,100 to replace the frame but not take care of the heating problem. Called GM and after a month of trying to get someone to talk to me I was told that I agree to paying $500 to replace the frame and I never talked to anyone at GM and said I would pay and only have the lights melt that frame.
