Went into the dealership to have recalls performed, they noticed my daytime running lights on my passenger side was out so I asked them to change it. This service was never performed so went to AutoZone to get a bulb to do myself. Went online to watch a video on how to change the bulb and realize there were so many complaints on the 2011 daytime running lights going bad and costing lots to replace. I have always been able to change my own bulbs and this should be a lot easier to repair.

Needless to say, hubby is deployed and I'm moving in 2 weeks so probably won't get done. Hope I don't get in an accident with 3 kids. It took GMC 2 years to finally fix my airbags after they screwed up the recall of them. My 2004 Envoy also had headlight issues. I'm thinking this will be my last GMC.

To replace a basic headlight, due to the requirement of the bumper and other parts to be taken off to access the headlamps, you have to take the car to a dealership. The minimum cost is $450 - TO REPLACE A HEAD LIGHT. This is INSANE and I will never purchase a GMC product again. This is not the only type of expensive repair I've incurred. For the cost of the vehicle + expensive repairs, I should have bought a Benz.
