When I slow my 2011 Acadia down to make a turn the steering becomes very stiff (basically loss of power steering) When I speed up the power steering becomes normal. I have read several complaints concerning the Acadia for this problem and it apparently requires replacement of the rack and pinion steering and power steering pump. Appears to be so many complaints can't understand why GMC is not making it a recall. Could be a major safety issue.
