Acadia LL 3.2L V6

I am the first owner of this car and have had one issue after another. The whining sound seems like it's connecting to the power steering but it doesn't get worse when I turn, it gets worse when I slow down. It's very loud from inside the car...not sure if it can be heard outside but I'm assuming that it can.
