My 2012 GMC Acadia is a piece of crap. At 62,000 I had a whining noise in the steering and put it in the shop because I the warranty had expired. I thought it was the power steering pump but it was not that simple. They had to replace the rack and pinion, left CV axle, and two broken motor mounts at a cost of $1500.00. It is back in the shop again for ac problem. The refrigerant line going to the rear ac has a leak and that is going to cost $1000.00. What a piece of junk!

Car started making a loud noise when I turned to the right. Car started smoking and smelled like something burning and steering wheel locked up. Power steering fluid was pouring out from beneath my car

This steering problem is a major issue that the vehicle other then mine continues to have. It's a safety hazard and GMC needs to stop taking people's money and recall and fix this issue. They will not be satisfied until someone gets seriously hurt or dies. I do not want this to happen to anyone please get this fixed!

Had a very bad time with this repair, none of the cars I have owned in my entire life have had a problem this big! GMC won't make a valid warranty because my warranty expired on October 2014 and the failure occurred on December 2014. It's ridiculous that two months after the warranty expires, the car starts failing this big!
