Acadia Denali 3.6L

Had both side detection modules replaced in Mar of 2018, cost $2300 through a GMC dealer in Hudson Fl.

They replaced both modules, both module plugs and the BMC module. Now, a year later and they are not

working again. With this being a nationwide problem, I don't understand why GM is not made to do a recall

and fix the problem. If GM does not fix the problem for free this time, I will never buy another GM product.

GM rejected this claim stating that it is an environmental issue. So if you own a GMC Acadia don't drive it in bad weather because GM has mounted these modules behind the rear tires where water and snow gets splashed all over them, corroding the harness and the modules. I will never buy another GM product.
