The contact owns a 2017 GMC arcadia. The contact stated while stopped with the vehicle in park, the shift to park message displayed on the instrument panel with an abnormal chime heard. Additionally, the doors failed to lock securely. The contact called shelton Buick GMC Inc (855 S. rochester rd, rochester hills, mi 48307, (248) 266-2156) and was informed that the repair was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 25,000.
