The contact owns a 2021 GMC Acadia. The contact stated while driving approximately 65-70 MPH, the driver-€™s side rear spring detached and almost caused a collision. The dealer was made aware of the failure and it was arranged for the vehicle to be towed to the dealer for diagnosis. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to the dealer prior to the failure after the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. However, the dealer could not replicate the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.
