This 2024 GMC Acadia will not back up safely on a rainy day. when moving backward, when it raining the emergency braking continually engage, approximately every two feet. I took it to GM dealer service center, it did the same with them. However, they can't correct the problem and GM does not have a fix. Also others vehicle like this one are experiencing the same problem. This has been an ongoing problem since July 5, 2024 in rainy weather. I called GM customer service and have gotten no result. I don't know what to do. can you all help us (Please). Thank you all so very much.

When the vehicle is in reverse and you are backing the emergency brake suddenly comes on practically giving you whiplash. This happens randomly and without any obstruction or reason for the emergency brake to come on. It has happened many times. This morning it slammed the emergency brake on 4 times in a row I didn't think I was going to be able to back up as it kept kicking the emergency brake on. Based on what I have seen on the internet many 2024 GMC Acadia owners are having similar problems. GM needs to fix this!

I was driving and making a left turn at a traffic light when all of a sudden, every light lit up on my dashboard. Then the dashboard turned completely black along with the radio screen. When the dashboard went black, I tried to stop by hitting the brakes to pull over. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor, and I had zero brakes. I was able to coast to a dirt shoulder where the vehicle stopped due to friction and gravity. The brakes never worked to aid in stopping the motion of my vehicle. I had my vehicle towed immediately to the dealership where I bought it.
