I would like a solution to this speaker problem. The dealership has changed the radio and has (apparently) put electrical grease on the wires but this has not helped at all. Now the dealership is waiting for GMC Canada to come up with a solution, I would like to have this left speaker wire (connection) checked, it seems like this cutting in and out could be a simple solution....start with that. Disconnect that speaker and maybe try another speaker? But I have been told I have to wait for GMC to give directions to remedy this problem.
Paying for satellite radio and this problem is very annoying I just end up turning the radio off. The stereo system sounds good when all the speakers are working, when the left dash speaker cuts out I usually turn the volume up and then when that speaker cuts in again it is too loud and end up turning it down again. Yes, really annoying, I turn the radio off.
I have made contact with GMC Canada with hope they can help me with this problem.
