The torque converter on my Canyon is slipping and it is the same issue I had one year after I bought it. What I don't understand is why do I have to pay for something that was not corrected the first time. And the dealership want to charge me $160 for a diagnostic check when I know what the issue is.
If they want to do a diagnostic and find some other issue and let me know there are other things that need to be taken care of, that's cool and I don't have problem paying for whatever the other issues are, but I should not have to pay a diagnostic check if I don't want one, but they are making it mandatory. This is my first GM vehicle but you can bet this will be my last. I agree that the owners of these vehicles need to band together and get GM to look into this because there are a lot owners having this same problem with their GMC Canyon.
