The contact stated the vehicle was taken to the dealership on 12/14/23. They did a full check on the vehicle and could not fix the issue. GM is pushing updates over the air that are permanently disabling the backup camera by damaging the camera control module. Not sure yet how long we-??ll have to wait for the part. I-??ve heard of many that have been waiting months. They should not be pushing out defective software when it takes out the safety equipment.
