Took a less than 6-month old vehicle in for two other issues, but was informed by the dealership the shifter was also bad, and needed to be replaced. I believe this to have been more an electrical issue, than a mechanical one. Nevertheless, it took four days just to get the part. I had to pay for a rental car, since I was not offered a loaner, probably because I was out of state, and over 700 mi. from home. I/we are just hoping the guy put everything back together properly. We are really wondering if this was the wrong vehicle to buy.
