Have had my vehicle at the shop for transmission issues several times. Two of the times, issues were duplicated and parts replaced, but same issues continue as soon as I get it back. My complaint when I take it in is always the same. Normally when I accelerate from a dead stop forward or reverse, the transmission makes a thumping noise. It has steadily gotten worse. A lot of times now if I take my foot off gas for a second, at faster speeds, and then put foot right back on gas, it makes the same thumping noise and sometimes a grinding noise like it's stuck between gears. This last time I took it to the dealer, was told there was nothing they could do and would most likely get worse as vehicle gets older.
