I just had my brakes serviced and my bushings changed, but my ABS light still comes on. Also when I go to brake the car starts to shake and I'm going the speed limit. The engine has a rough idle, and shuts off when at a complete stop and when the vehicle is in motion. I've had many things replaced on the vehicle, such as purge valve, gas cap. Charcoal canister and fuel tank. In the engine the spark plugs were changed as well as the coil packs and the fuel injectors. Along with the camshaft sensor. Still getting P0455 and PO0014. Won't pass smog can't register vehicle, but my only means of transportation. 2004 GMC Envoy xuv slt 4dr 2wd

One day my sunroof worked and the next day it would not. It was stuck in the in the open position (not fully open, but when the front end raises an inch or so). I took it to a GM certified mechanic and they said I would need a whole new assembly and quoted me $2,100. The dealership and GM notified me that they would not help me with this defect at all. My car is in excellent condition with only 85,000 miles on it, but it is only worth $5,000 and I paid over $14,000 for it in 2009 when I bought it from a GM dealership. I cannot afford to lose $2,100 on this vehicle. And this is not the first issue that I have had. When I drove it home from the dealership the whole instrument panel failed. They fixed that. Then a year later, when I was driving home with my new born, the entire car shut down while in motion going 45 miles per hour. The dealership said that it was a problem with the computer and the warranty would not cover it, but it would cover a restoration of the computer. Then when I went to get my vehicle the refused to let me take it until I paid $200. My vehicle has shut down while driving since that and can barely maintain idling at traffic lights at times. Now back to the sunroof, after not being able to afford to fix it the mechanic took out the sunroof and just set it in the frame so at least water would not get in when it rained. However, it is just sitting in there and can easily be lifted out and may even get blown out on the freeway. When exactly will this become a safety hazard" when my sunroof blows off on the freeway and causes a fatal car accident? or when my car completely shuts down on the middle of the freeway and my children and I get killed in a pile up" GM has been convicted of neglecting to recall vehicles with safety issues recently. Clearly, GM refuses to protect its customers. Please help protect consumers and do something about this.

I purchased the vehicle March of 2014 from sunset motors in coeur D alene, id. The following day the car died and I took it back to the dealer where they told me the fuel pump needed replaced; which they replaced. I left the dealership after the repair was completed and filled my gas tank when I began to smell a strong odor of gas. I pulled away from the pump and looked under the vehicle to see gas leaking from what appeared to be the fuel tank. I took it back to the dealership and they said that the neck of the gas tank was cracked and they would repair it. I left with the vehicle after sunset motors stated the repair was done on the gas tank. The check engine light came on the following day. The code was reading P0455 large evap leak. I have tried replacing the gas cap as recommended by autozone where I took the vehicle to have the code read. The light continued to come on over the course of months. I recently took it to aamco after my vehicle started vibrating while in idle where they informed me that the crack in the neck of the fuel tank was still apparent and fuel tank needed replaced. After doing research I have found this is a common problem for this vehicle and GM had offered to extend the warranty when research into safety was done previously which was accepted and no recall was done. GM has stated the warranty has expired. I feel that the leak in the neck of the fuel tank is a manufactures defect as there is no known reason for a crack to happen in the fuel tank. Like I said previously I have found numerous reports of this happening to others with the same vehicle. I feel that it is a safety concern and fear the possibilities of what could happen to my vehicle with myself and young children in the vehicle until I am able to afford to replace the fuel tank. I would appreciate this being looked in to and the safety around the defect.

My GMC Envoy stalls out when I stop at traffic lights. I then have to put it in park to restart the vehicle. Although test meters/equipment have been used to find the cause for the unexplained stall is still unknown.this happens apx. Once every (2) months. When the engine stalls out the "check engine light" comes on and last month the " reduced engine power" light also came on and the Envoy would only move at 3 to 4 mph.

While driving another motorist saw smoke coming from rear of vehicle and got vehicle stopped on side of road at which time the engine compartment was engulfed in flames. Called fire dept and police. Fire spread through the hearer box into the vehicle and across dash until it began burning the headliner. Fire dept put out fire but was a total loss. There was no indication on instrument panel of any problems (all gauges showing normal readings).

Engine stalls when you slow down and the air conditioner or widow defogger is on. I have also had power surging. I had to replace the map sensor twice and the bracket and it is still showing bad. I also replace the cam shaft position sensor and the thermostat. Also the wiper on the rear will not spray any water or washer.
