GMC sucks plan and simple your better off going with Honda, Ford or Toyota when it come to realiability. I spent over 1,000 + dollars fixing issues on this truck. It drives nice when it works. GMC customer service was contacted and they were of not helpful at all. I explained that the problem with the throttle body and electrical system was not just an isolated incident with me. A Google search turned up many people with the same exact issue. Customer service would not own up to the fact that it is a mass issue that needs to be resolved. they would not take ownership and responsibility for lousy engineering. Instead they encourage you to bring it to the dealer to get it fixed and pay through the nose. GMC SUCKS. Never again I am happy with my Ford and Honda now. If they go bankrupt again I will petition for the government not to rescue them. Shut the doors on an embarrassment to American engineering and service.

It is the middle of one of the coldest winters in TN and I am driving from Hopkinsville, KY to FT Campbell, KY, which is about a 25 min drive. Out of nowhere the gauges start bouncing all over the place and the entire vehicle shuts down. There is no apparent warning or reason. I lose all power steering and brakes and the engine just sputters and shuts off.
