I took my Envoy in to Midway Chevrolet on April 25 for new brakes and tires. I told them I had a small vibration on the right front that I wanted them to check out. They told me it needed new tie rods...no problem, had it changed. The first visit cost me almost $1700. After picking it up and driving it home, I noticed a knocking in the right front, called the dealership back and they had me bring it back. I believed they replaced the ball joints. We are now 2 months into this problem and it is getting worse. Dealership has had it more than me, I've been paying for rental cars because now it has a banging on the floorboard of the passenger side. They have officially told me there is nothing that they can do. I've spent almost $1900 and I am afraid to drive my vehicle. I've been told by several mechanics that it is probably a broken motor mount and it is the catalytic converter that I hear banging. No one will listen to me.
