My gas tank stopped working while on 95 in philadelphia. Imagine that I am driving thinking that I have a full tank and my car stops while going over 50mph in traffic. I almost was hit four times. The scariest thing ever when I keep up with my car maintenance and had less then 32000 miles. Shame on GMC DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THIS ISSUE IS RECALLED?

Gas gauge would read the amount of gas in tank then go to empty. After taking it to the dealership, they said they fixed it, however, the next day I started the truck and the gas gauge didn't move from empty. Took it back to the dealership and the underwriter tried to argue with me and ask me how much gas was in the tank. I asked him "how was I suppose to know if the gauge was on empty. He made the comment, "how and I suppose to find out the problem if you don't know how much gas is in the tank.. His manager told him to just write the order up.

The gas gauge kept going from empty to correct fuel reading and the engine light stayed on; I never knew how much gas was in the vehicle. I received a letter from GMC stating the dealer would fix this problem without charge so they did.. Thank goodness!!! The charge on the invoice was almost 300 dollars...
