My vehicle just suddenly stopped dead, in the road after leaving my residence and all control was lost. Unable to put transmission in neutral to push vehicle off road. I had it repaired by a trained mechanic and was told it was a faulty ignition. I had the faulty ignition replaced and the vehicle was operational again along with the worry of this happening again.

There are times when I don't know if my vehicle will start. I put the key in and sometimes it starts right up and other times, I have to keep turning and turning and wait until it will catch on. There were times where I had wait up to an hour for my car to start. I never know when because I don't have an indicator when the vehicle will decide to start. There have been times when it would work fine for one month with no incident, then it will not switch on. Seems like when I take it to the shop, that is when the car decides to act right. And the service stabilitrac light has been on since I purchased the vehicle only to find out that I need a rack and pinion. I really think the ignition switch should be recalled. I contacted the dealer and they informed me that my vehicle was not on the recall list. Updated 09/15/15
