Envoy

I started my car and it sounded like a diesel truck. No prior warning. Just had a new transmission 4 months ago and now have to put out more money. I do understand that things go wrong with cars, but I would like to think that the designers and manufacturers could design a car that will not have so many problems starting at 70,000 miles.

When you get an extended warranty, the dealers pick and choose which problem they actually cover. The small print is getting smaller!!!!

Envoy SLT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,500 miles

Just started the car up this evening, and a loud exhaust leak sound came from under the hood. Have not had it checked out yet, but am fearing the worst.

Update from Apr 14, 2015: My worst fear was confirmed. It was a cracked exhaust manifold. Repair cost 733 at the dealer; 500 at local repair shop.
