For the last 6 months, the rear of our 2003 GMC Envoy XL goes down after the vehicle is turned off. We have had the compressor for the suspension replaced but it continues to happen. Usually the rear of the vehicle goes back up after the vehicle has been on for a couple of minutes. Once, though, the rear suspension failed while driving.

My 03 Envoy XL air compressor will not inflate the air suspension. The rear end is sitting way down with a little bit of air in the shocks but will bottom out easily. The compressor comes on for about 30 sec to 1 min at startup but no increase in ride height. This is the second time this has happened - 1st time was about 3-4 months after I bought the car in 2006 and the dealership fixed it for free. I have been reading on-line and have seen similar complaints over the years for the model - 2003 GMC Envoy XL.
