Envoy XL SLT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 138,000 miles

Driver side in split system will not heat. When I turn temp control for driver side to heat, it will only go up to 64F and starts cooling driver side. Fix so far, park in the sun leave heat/AC off and turn on seat heater while wearing a heavy coat! Is fix going to junk yard and pulling a control?

Envoy XL SLT XUV V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

this is just 1 of many things that have went wrong with this $45,000 hunk of junk that ive put less than 10k miles on in 2 yrs. My mechanic hates the envoys and trailblazers cuz they caused the death of 1400 of our servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan, which the resulting lawsuits are before the supreme court now. The wiring harnesses that cause the electrical problems that resulted in the vehicle dying and not restarting without replacing the brain aka pcm (another thing Ive had to replace at a cost of $1213) left our boys stranded and open to be ambushed by rebels. Gm knew of these problems but have yet to issue a recall. I have always been a GM lady but I will never give GM another penny of my hard earned money!
