Jimmy SLT 4.3L V6

My vehicle will not start on the first turn of the key. it takes at least 3 cranks to finally get the motor to start from a cold start. the battery and alternator are in fairly good condition. i'm not sure how old my spark plugs and wires are. i have no idea what the problem is.
