This line was put behind the front bumper real low to the ground as to get hit by the most salt, gravel and slush as possible. so mine sprung a leak and made a nasty sound, thankfully I was almost home when it sprang so I wasn't stuck trying to turn this huge van without power steering and without running the pump dry. Since the steering hydraulics and power brakes are linked I really would have been up the creek if all the fluid drained out on the highway. fix was cheap and easy though. just chopping off the tubing where it leaked, cleaning it up and running it to a new HIGH performance aftermarket power steering fluid radiator with some hose. had to bleed and refill the system but was mostly painless.
