The contact owns a 2000 GMC Safari. The contact stated that the brake lights and hazard lights failed. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic who advised he would make a temporary repair. The manufacturer was not contacted in regards to the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000. Updated 5/9/11 the consumer was alerted by other motorists that his vehicle had no brake lights. Updated 05/18/11
