The fuel pump on my GMC 2001 Safari van makes a loud whining noise. I am looking into why this would occur on a 4 year old vehicle. I have owned other GMC's and not heard of any such problems. I feel this to be a safety hazard and am looking to have it replaced by the dealer without charge as soon as possible.
