Just found this site and it is great.

Was driving to northern Montana in January to go ice fishing and could not stand the heat in the truck on the drivers side. The problem was the passinger was freezing. Took it in to the local dealrship and they fixed it as they said that they know that there is a problem with the sealer used around the core and they had some new stuff to try to fix it

Just found this site love this web site Look at my other post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time my wife was riding with me in the winter in the passinger side and had me cooking well driving and she was freezing. I had a feeling right away that it was the seal around the heater core. Took it back to the dealer asking if it should last longer than a couple of years and asked them if they were going to fix it and got no answer. Then I put on a big show at a local showroom where they tried to get me out from in front of all of the people that was looking at new cars. I got them to agree to fix it at there cost. It has now lasted a few more years.
