The contact owns a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact felt a mushy feeling when he depressed the brake pedal. He depressed the pedal again and it immediately extended to the floor. The contact pulled off the road, placed the vehicle into neutral, and applied the emergency brake. NHTSA campaign id number 00V345000 (service brakes, hydraulic:foundation components:hoses, lines/piping, and fittings) was referenced. The failure mileage was 122,000.
