problem #2

Sierra 1500 SLT 6.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,345 miles

This is the third known GMC problem I have experienced with this truck. I am very disappointed in the dealer who as others have said pleads stupid about the issues and then tries to rake you over the coals to pad their service income.A/c starts blowing hot on drivers side fir no reason. Turn off car, turn back on, seat resets. Unknown fix. I did hear something about a reload of the computer as a service bulletin fromGMC. I will most likely not buy another GMC or Ford for reasons lie this. A mfr. that will not address their screwups.

Sierra 1500 LS 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

No ranting, I am just looking for the fix. Truck starts and runs normally. A/C blowing cold. If I stop at a light or slow down, and not everytime, the cold air blowing from the 2 driver's vents blow like the heater is on and the passenger's vents still blow AC cold. If I turn the truck off and restart it's cold again. I think it's gotta be a vacuum hose but where? I do not have time to tear my dash apart. Please help.
