took this truck in because ac just quit working and then would start back working, was just a problem that happened intermittently, but it kept getting worse. the dealership changed one part and it worked for two days, charged me 300.00, then took it back and they said the compressor was bad, we changed the compressor and they charged me another 1000.00. worked for about three months ok then all of a sudden the drivers side starts blowing out hot air and the passenger side is blowing cold air. You can stop and turn off the vehicle and the ac and turn it back on which can be very annoying in traffic at 100 degrees plus but it will work right again for a couple of hours. This is a problem with gm products obviously because my sister has a gmc sierra, my daughter and son in law have chevys, and we also had an envoy that all did the same thing. The dealership says there are no recalls on it but I think that is terrible, we have 4 gm vehicles in our family and they all do the same thing. My friend also owns an gmc envoy and she has the same problem with hers, she says that she can't afford for them to experiment with her vehicle so she deals with it until she can trade it in on anything but a gm product. How do you get general motors to claim responsibility for their crappy product?
