Every time I drive this vehicle and apply the brakes they seem fine until the vehicle is coming to a stop then around 5 mph the brakes pulse or "Flutter" right before it comes to a halt. This gives me a very scary feeling as I drive the truck.I wonder if the brakes are going to fail me completely some day. I have read so many testimonies of brake failure on these GMC Sierra models and the Chevy Silverado. I'm weary of driving the truck any great distance and speed.I feel GM should try to remedy this problem. I can't believe the insurance companies haven't put pressure on GM to fix this. After reading so many stories of malfunctions on these models you have to wonder why isn't it getting fixed?
It would only seem like a good selling point to the public to keep the customer from buying a truck from the competitor.I know if GM doesn't fix this problem I'm never buying another GM again.I come from a "GM Only" buying family and I want to think that GM stands behind their products like they used to. I still own my first new car, a 1970 SS396 Chevelle with 28,000 miles on it.What happened to "Like a rock ? "
