The contact owns a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck. While driving, he could smell a burning odor coming from the inside of the vehicle. The dealer found that there was a shortage and a melted harness assembly. The blower resistor and harness assembly were replaced at the owner's expense. The manufacturer was contacted and could only offer a 15,000 mile extended warranty. The current and failure mileages were under 48,198. Updated 02/23/10. Updated 08/12/10
