When bought new, between 40 and 60 mph there is a bouncing in the suspension. Fix was to place 400 lbs just behind the tailgate. I put 330 lbs across the rear axial with good balanced tires. Been this way since 2005 and it's a stupid fix.

When pulling in my driveway the brake lights came on and the brake pedal went clear to the floor. Upon investigating I found the brake lines to be severely corroded. I was fortunate not to be driving at a faster rate of speed on the open road. That same week the steering had become very difficult to turn like it was low on fluid, which it was not. I have also had to have both front wheel bearings replaced along with the computer at 400 miles.

Noticed vehicle vibration from this first week I bought the truck. The dealer said they will look at it and fix any problem..they look at the truck and said the vibration was normal. I went to the automobile complaint center and had a judge listen to the "lemon" issue. The judge order a different machanic to evaluate the truck. He did and said "yes it vibrates too much". the judge asked the GMC company rep what could been done. He said the same thing that I have read before... that is to put 500 lbs in the rear of the truck. That did not help. At about 45 mph like tire out of round. At 55 mph and greater, vibration felt like tire out of balance. GM tells me problem is normal, will not correct. GM calls the problem "beaming", and suggests placing 500 lbs in bed of truck. Tried this and vibration still exists. Truck shakes so bad at 65 mph that my wife whated to get a heavy duty bra.,.. the vehicle now has developed a harmonic noise at 45 mph and less, which the dealer tells me is also normal and will not repair.

Vehicle shimmies when you apply the brakes at speeds 45 mph. During heavy braking vehicle is hard to control as the steering wheel shakes heavily. Vehicle has been in the garage 3 times for problem. 1st garage visit grooves were present in the rotor 2nd visit rotors were turned and 3rd visit rotors were turned again. Problem is still occurring.... this problem poses a serious hazard.
