First it was the drivers door. I went to open vehicle door and handle came off in my hand. A week later the passenger door. Called GMC and they had several rates ranges from 160. to 300 dollars for each door. The service manager did t for me for approximately 180.00. I had approximately 50,000 miles the first time then approximately 50,250 miles for the passenger door. When I asked what would happen if I went in to the lake and the door handles came off, the response was roll down the window. My windows are electric. No response from them then. Doing research on other sites this problem happens frequently for 1990's to 2015. Does GMC doi this so they can make an extra buck by charging customers 300.00 a door? Do research you will see this is a common problem. I am 67 years old and I am not hard on my vehicles. Besides the door, the vehicle has been very good to me.
