Sierra 1500 SLE 5.3L Vortec

  • Automatic transmission
  • 148,000 miles

Less than a month after I got my 2011 GMC Sierra 5.3 Vortec loss power check engine light on. Misfire cylinder 1.

Replaced: coil pack Spark plug Coil wire Fuel injector

Nothing made any difference!!! Got it pressure tested. No pressure.

So now I'm at an impasse. Cant sell it!! I got no more money for new motor!! Don't know how far to tear down to see what the real f* problem is. GMC should have to recall these pieces of sht motors (I know thousands will agree)!!! Is there any solution to my problem or am I f* and not kissed???

We have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500. Nonstop issues. Number 1 plug keep fouling oil pressure drops to zero fan on the motor comes on sparadically for no reason and drains my battery dead the horn will start to blare for no reason while you are driving The things or band aids we put on were: Spark plug number 1 Changed plug lasted a couple months Changed plug again lasted a few miles unplugged wire and re-plugged wire lasted a day or two Changed wire lasted about ten minutes unplug and re-plug until you get to destination No oil pressure. sea foam and oil change seems to work for now fan we can't figure out. we unplug battery every time we get home horn going off for no reason no fix we unplug battery and hope like heck it doesn't do it when re-plugged. we need help. I am not financially equipped to handle this. I need my truck for work. I need work to fix my truck. You see I am frustrated.....
