Paint on roof peeling off in large flakes. Spot on hood started as a small chip an now about dime size. Body shop at dealer stated he has seen this problem on a lot of trucks and that GM is aware of the issue but not doing thing about it.

Nice, well kept GMC Denali Sierra 2013. Paint above the windshield has started to blister up in three locations. One spot about the size of a half dollar and the other 2 the size of nickels. Just showed up in the past 2 weeks. It appears the paint has never end bonded to metal cab. Any help from dealers on this problem. This is my third Denali truck to purchase but might be the last GMC product depending on how they handle problem.

Purchased new in 2013, paid $62,000, top of the line Sierra, special white pearl paint, all the options. Truck has been very good and reliable. Love the color, but have a rather large spot on the front of the roof where paint blew off. Went to dealer for warranty repair and was told GM only warranties paint for 3 yrs. or 36,000 miles. What a crock, during my lifetime I have owned at least 25 pickups and never had an issue with peeling paint. Never owned a GMC or and will never own another. Have a Toyota that is 25 years old, never been in the garage, and the paint is still there. Buy American, that's BS.

I see a trend of poor paint jobs on many trucks by GMC on this website. I thought it was just mine, but wow. GMC, I hope you're proud to steal money from hard working Americans.

I have had this truck for 2 years. Right after I got it in 2018, the paint around the windshield and on the doors started peeling off. I took it to a paint shop and they said it looked like it never really adhered well to the very thin coat of primer, and there was NO clear coat they could detect.
