The day I purchased this truck it was raining very hard with storms all around. Because of this, I was not able to to fully examine the exterior. The next day as I slowly examined the vehicle, I noticed over spray in all door jambs. Flat and extremely dull spots under the hood, buffer rub through on fender. The front bumper is painted black, I pulled it in and was more than shocked to see the bumper where the fog lights are located to be brown. Obviously not enough paint sprayed over the factory primer. This color change is apparent all over the truck. None of the body panels line up, particularly on the front.

I have to question if the body parts that were damaged were genuine GM parts or aftermarket parts. I have dealt with the dealership in this issue and finally turned to GM complaint department, to no avail. I have dealt with this situation for a full year next month. GM did send someone to examine the vehicle. I found out last week that the gentleman they sent was the district manager of the DEALERSHIP! I was told by the dealership that GM was sending an Engineer employed by GM. GM is now saying they will only pay to paint the fender. Wow, how nice of them.....NOT!

While my truck was at the dealership, I asked them to fix all of the recalls. It was written on the work order although nothing was ever done. One of the recalls was the ignition switch situation which could be very dangerous. I will now go through the arbitration process that GM approves of and if that does not work I do have several attorneys that are ready and willing to take my case.

Never again will I purchase another GM product. I have always had GM and had excellent results with them. I spent $55,000 on this truck and GM does not care. I am sure, even writing this letter that my blood pressure is out the ceiling and my nerves are practically shot. The representatives from GM are kind to a point. Once they realize you want them to do something, they are not quite as nice.

I saw on the television that GM is well over 3 billion in debt and their sales are rapidly declining. I know I am just one individual out here and can't do much but if I could I would do everything in my power to make sure they never sold another vehicle and if they did, one problem within the first month of purchase would qualify that owner to another new vehicle of their choice. I believe that would make them stand up and pay attention......unless of course, if Obama owns the lions share of GM.
