I have a scan tool and it says my brake recall is unfinished. But website says it has been fixed. My brakes are terrible and keep getting service brakes airbag and stabilitrack. The download they used when I took in for the recall was not finished

The contact owned a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while at a stop light, another vehicle crashed into the drive side door and caved in the door driving at 60 mph. The driver rear and front window were blown out. The air bags failed to deploy. As a result, the contact sustained a cut to her left leg, shoulder and back injuries that required medical attention. The contact mentioned the other driver sustained injuries and also required medical attention. A police report was filed. The contact also mentioned that her onstar did not function. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

I took my truck in to the local GMC dealership for the recall fix and they ask if I wanted a diagnosis on the truck for a charge. I said yes cause I had a check engine light on and service air bag light on. Which they both came on a week after I bought it. So the service advisor told me that the belt tensioner is out on the drivers side and that the wiring under the drivers seat is messed up. And they told me some other things that were wrong with my truck that I have since found out were false. But I asked him if the seat belt and working issue is covered under a safety warranty. And he said no and to fix your truck it will be 5400 dollars. I have found out that there is a recall on these items and the recall number is 15522. So I would like to find out if I'm or the services advisor. Thanks

The service airbag warning light came on and took it into a dealership to figure out why (never been in an accident). The front passenger occupancy sensor is malfunctioning. This would mean in an accident, the airbags would not be deployed because the sensor isn't able to detect if there is a passenger there or not.

The air bag did not deploy and the driver sustained a bruised neck. Medical attention was not received. Police report number: Spc32B7N80X was filed at the scene. The contact discovered that a 10-inch section of the brake rotor was missing from the vehicle. The vehicle was recently serviced for NHTSA campaign number: 19V645000 (service brakes). The manufacturer and hudson GMC (2023 South rd, poughkeepsie, NY) were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 72,000.

I temporarily had no control over the vehicle causing me to have an accident. While driving down a residential street approaching a stop sign intersection I merged into the center of St to pass a trashcan and in the process of returning to my correct position on the road I suddenly had no steering. Panicking from the loss I pressed my brakes an attempt to bring vehicle to a stop but was unsuccessful because the tires began a slide once noticing the traction loss I proceeded to release brakes and reapply in hopes of gaining traction the brief relief from brakes caused the vehicle to regain traction and while I still have no control over steering, the vehicle jerks towards the right side of the road and the brakes being reapplied the vehicle continues to slide off pavement making contact with stop sign and telephone pole.

Traveling down road at 45 mph in a storm. A large tree blew down in front of me I hit brakes but pickup didn't not stop. I hit the tree as there was no place to go. The front bumper was knocked back app 4 inches wrapped the frame of truck. The air bag never deployed. This was a 2014 GMC bad lander edition. It stayed in shop in okc ok for 3 months at forguson Dodge. I believe the airbags should have deployed and I have a hurt back now because I hit the roof in my seatbelt.

Takata recall - my complaint is to report the lack of timeliness of repair for a manufacturer recall: #2016020003. I have contacted the dealers several times and the parts for repair are not available from the manufacturer. I am concerned about the car's safety and lack of information available on when the parts will be available.
