Every other GMC Serria all terrain owner I have talked to has seen this problem. The dealer said GMC was aware of it but has no solution. When coasting downhill at low speeds (below 30 + or -)the transmission goes out of gear. When you press the accelerator the engine revs up but transmission stays out of gear, as if in neutral. The only way I know of to get the transmission to find a gear is to either come to a complete stop or shift the gear lever into neutral and back into drive. This happens to me a lot but sometimes it occurs while driving down the mountain where I live.
