problem #2

Dec 242020

Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

I purchase this vehicle in the winter of 2020 with 72,000 miles on it. The first thing I noticed was the heaters on the seat cushions of both seats didn't work. The back cushions worked fine, but the seat cushions were the problem.

I found a YouTube video that explained how to remove and replace them, but it seemed like it was too much trouble, and the cost of having the dealership fix it was too costly...approximately $400 per seat.

I feel the GMC manufacturer should have designed these seat heaters to last longer.

Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

I have heated and cooled leather seats in my 2015 sierra. cooling works great, however the heating can hardly be noticed. there are three levels of heating...however anything but high is useless.
