The contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that the weight of the trailer cord made the cord hang. As a result, the trailer brake became nonfunctional. The trailer could not haul heavy materials and was a hazard to the contact's safety. Also, "trailer brake fail" appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle was driven to joe fuoco motor company (741 N 1st St, grand junction, co 81501, (970) 701-4773), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 42,000. The VIN was unknown.
