The contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with Bridgestone tires, tire line: Dueler H/T 684 II, and tire size: P255/70R17 (N/a). The contact stated that the rear driver side tire had large pieces of tread detaching from the center of the tire. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tires needed to be replaced and the failure was undetermined. The tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage of the tire and the vehicle was 2,416.
