Sierra 1500 SLT

Every once in a while I am driving down the road and the transmission makes a clunking noise like its having a hard time shifting between gears. It also gives the truck a jolt and throws me back in the seat.

clunks @ 30 mph slowing down for traffic or traffic lights

GM should have the programming refined perfectly on a vehicle that cost 50K.. no glitches at all.. The operation of the transmission is the only real complaint I have with the truck.. although I personally don't like the key. It is cumbersome in my pockets especially wearing dress pants. I decided to hang it on my belt loop with a snap ring.. But the 6 speed transmission just needs some refinement. Probably can be a program fix for them if GM will just got on it..
