Sierra 1500 LTZ 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,000 miles

I purchase a new gm truck every 7 years. These pricks refuse to resolve this issue for a loyal customer. For the first time in my life, next year I will be writing a check for a new Ford. These gm pricks spend all this money to attract a customer and yet lack the honor to help and retain a loyal, cash paying buyer.

Tires were sold to me by a GMC dealer they are defective with 25,000 kms on them and they want me to pay $600.00 CDN to pro-rate them even when I said they shook when they were new and mounted at 1,000 kms. They are all passing the buck saying we cant use the road force print out from the other dealer as we did not do the work. ALL Crooks! THE tire size 265 70 17 BFG tako2 on stock rims. Black smoke on start up/ engine pinging even on 94 octane or E85!

They said the computer does not have any codes all is fine and that is a normal sound "WTF. Oil consumption is not good, ticking in the lower end marbly, sounds like a rod bearing to me. I wish I would win the lotto so I could sell this POS and get a DODGE RAM! I spin wrenches and have a mech background.

Anything over 65 MPH feels like you're driving a basketball. Put four new tires on it at $850 out of my own pocket. Did not fix it. dealer told me that I had to have it road force balanced at $100 more . still did not fix it.

Sierra 1500 SL 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,800 miles

started noticing vibration in the fall as I was leaving for vacation. felt it at 35 mph. on a highway where I was allowed to go faster it seemed worse. when I got to where I was going, my friends neighbor who works for another car manufacture, asked what is wrong with my truck since it vibrates very badly. got home and turned into service station. says they could not duplicate. tried everything again and nothing. got a notice from advisor about recall on tires. put new ones on, vibration still there.

I'm a Dodge girl and bought this GMC for my husband. He duck hunts everyday and went after I rust proofed,

Cap on truck ,and Running boards, You couldn't drive this truck longer than 45 minutes and it vibrated so bad

It made you sick. Had truck back to dealer lots of times (Can't say they didn't try)

My son drove truck which he loves GMC and told us that it was the tires after all the work the dealer did on

it and he bought the Michelins and we put them on and took it for a 3 hour drive and now we love our truck. Runs and rides great. Sold 2 other trucks to friends that rode in ours and they haven't had any trouble.

It's a shame that I had to fix my own truck.
